What Happens When It Snows
Our service is built to keep your driveway usable 24 hours a day, whatever winter hands us. Here’s exactly what that looks like.
Normal conditions — 1" to 4"
One visit. Plowing begins once the storm has completely passed. Routes are typically completed within 8 hours of the storm’s end.
Blizzard conditions — 4" and up
Multiple visits. We target having you cleared before 7:00 AM or before 5:00 PM, whichever is coming up next, so you can get out when you need to. Then we come back when accumulation again exceeds 4 inches, or when the storm finally quits. During a blizzard we may partially clear some surfaces to speed our arrival at every driveway on the route — anything left behind is cleared completely on the final visit.

Unlimited Season

Pay a fixed seasonal price and we plow every qualifying snowfall of 1 inch or more — however many times winter makes us come back.
How billing works: One price, all season. A storm that takes three passes costs you exactly the same as a storm that takes one.

12-Plow Value Block
Our best per-visit price.
Commit to 12 plow visits at a reduced rate. After the first 12, additional visits bill at the Pay Per Visit rate.
How billing works: We bill by the visit, not by the inch. Each time we come out, that’s one visit against your 12 — so a storm big enough to need two trips uses two. A typical Twin Cities winter runs 16–17 visits, so most 12-Plow customers use the full block. Unused visits don’t carry over to next season.
Best for: Homeowners who want a lower per-visit price and are comfortable committing to 12.
Pay Per Visit
No minimum commitment — pay only when we plow.
You’re on the route automatically whenever qualifying snowfall reaches 1 inch, and you’re billed for each completed visit.
How billing works: We bill by the visit, not by the inch — you’re charged for each trip we make. Larger storms can take more than one.
Best for: Homeowners who want maximum flexibility.

Plow-Out
$40 per tripWhen the city plow berms in the bottom of your driveway, call us and we’ll come back and reopen it. Billed per trip.
Shoveling
priced with your instant quoteCovers the walk from your driveway to your front door, plus the apron in front of the garage. Public sidewalks along the street aren’t included. Plow routes run first and hand crews follow behind, so walks are typically cleared within 24 hours of plowing — up to 48 after a major storm.
Roof Raking
priced by requestIce dams start on the roof. We rake the lower 6 feet of roofline as standard, more on request.
De-Icing
priced by requestWe use magnesium chloride, the gold standard: it melts ice effectively and it’s easy on concrete, asphalt, pavers and pets. In extreme cold we switch to calcium chloride, which keeps working at temperatures where most products quit.
Ice Removal
priced by requestAlready have ice built up? We’ll come back and physically take it off with a plow, shovel or ice scraper.
Your plan covers the driveway. Walks, steps and the apron in front of the garage are hand work — shovels and smaller blowers — so they’re priced separately. Roof raking and de-icing are separate too. Tell us what you want and we’ll include it in your quote.
